http://www.activecollab.com/ is a new and much discussed clone of Basecamp... maybe worth a shot? What are you after exactly?

3stripe: ActiveCollab is alpha. It failed miserably for me when I tried it. -

It failed miserably for me when I tried it.
Barring a couple typos (which is prone to happen when writing software that's not necessarilly in your native language) it works peachy for me. It does require PHP5.1 though. -

Which one is failed?
dotproject runs fine under PHP4 but most host companies have multiple verison of PHP installed any way.
