If you've read my last post about the portfolio site, I got some pretty bad crititque for it. Basically (in summary) they said different colors, and more robots. So with that in mind, which program do you reccomend for some easy illustration? The only program I have right now is GIMP, and it's okay. But what else? I know Illustrator :-p, but I don't have $500 to drop.

    Thanks.

Well if you talking about vector graphics I would recommend look at Freehand or CorelDraw.
Actually I like CorelDraw better then Illustrator.

    Cheers, DS

I use Pain.NET, its free and works much better than GIMP in my opinion. Make sure you install the .NET framework for it to run off of. I don't have the link right now so just Google it.
