I've been looking at MANY open source programs recently, and I've come across (a long time a go) Gimp. And then Inkscape was recommended to me, and then after Inkscape I found Artrage. But Artrage isn't open source (well, at least not the full version). So, does anyone know of any descent open source sketch programs? Or, something to create cartoons or whatnot. Thanks in advance.

Paint.NET works very well for me. Its open source and has been updated with new features many times since I began using it.

Thanks. But I don't really like that one. Sorry :/ It's too much already like Microsoft Paint, but with layers and effects. Heh heh.

Well... not sure if this is what you need, but google has sketchup.

Here's an excerpt from the site:
SketchUp is powerful yet easy-to-learn 3D software. We think of it as the pencil of digital design. This award-winning software combines a simple, yet robust tool-set that streamlines and simplifies 3D design inside your computer
