i am going off this. -
I think it will be hard to find the “best” site. Everyone builds their own opinions based on past experiences with these, I think the best way of finding out would be to try each one?
I would add craigslist to the list, the only site I’ve used, and seems to work.

I agree with droppyale.
I don't use any of the websites you mentioned. I guess if you located outside US the prices not so bad and work on a Bid/Outbid bases but I would never consider using any of this websites to get any projects. Referrals good way to go if you have established client list.
Every situation is different but in my experience is better to concentrate on a local market.
craiglist is good place but again most of the time you need to be local to get the project. It's even hard to get any project if you in the same state but in different City but there are some chances.
