CSS is not becoming more powerful. CSS has stayed the same. Browser support has improved, except the villain: Internet Explorer. If you want to see what will be available in the future, read the CSS 3.0 Specification drafts.
Small parts of CSS 3.0 have been incorporated in Gecko. Though, I think that it is bad to implement a draft specification because it can change. Bugs can result from this.
i hear about column display around here but i have yet to see something actually work.
I recently tried out a tutorial found on ALA regarding columns and I tested it out on FF 1.5. It came as no surprise to me that it didn't work.
maybe it may sound noobish of me ot ask this but where can I find a complete list of implemented new features in CSS2 and CSS3 and the support for them.
yo tsk, have you tried looking at the the CSS specs on the W3C site lately?
about the list of implemented features, it's really not that difficult to find. all u need to do is ask Google for it, surely it'll be more than gladly to answer any of your questions...
here's one of the link from a quick search on Google using the keywords "css browser support"
I think there is no Css for Radio Button, Check box and Combobox. The browsers should improve this too. You can style radio, checkboxes, input fields, select forms, etc.
your help is much apreciated, Risk. It's not that I haven't done a search for those, i was just asking for a conclusive list, rather than just partial data.
