    Hello,

We’re a new startup creating a new social web application. I’m looking for someone who actually has real design and information architecture skills to redesign our frontend before our public launch, slated for two months from now as the current design has been done by myself and I am not a frontend guy per se.

We are a seven person team, all part time, and financed out of our own pockets. We have a solid plan to make money. We value user experience and will not compromise our site with flashing ads and ugliness. We are based in Chicago, but you don’t have to be.

You must be able to code clean XHTML and CSS (our site is semi-clean but not as clean as it could be). Dreamweavers need not apply. Ability to understand or not be afraid of server side code like Ruby on Rails is a plus but not required.

Our timeframe is to have this complete by end of october. Our site consists of about 5-6 basic screens but each screen has ajax interactions. Please contact me for preview access to the site, then we will expect a concept bid.

We are looking for someone who would like to join us for the long term after the initial design, on a part time basis. You will be compensated in cash for the basic design, and in equity for the longterm relationship we establish where you will work 2-3 hours per week on average (some weeks no work) in designing new features with us. We would like you to take on the role of managing user experience and information architecture for us as we build new features.

Bump...this is still active. Please submit your portfolios to yan@fifteenreasons.com. We prefer people that have experience in web app design and information architecture. Must be familiar with interactive and ajaxy sites, not just static websites.
